This is a working draft. It describes what Miphen actually does today, and it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, write to teodora.popa.ca@gmail.com and ask.

The short version: Miphen is here to help you think, it is not an authority on your life or anyone else’s, and you stay responsible for what you decide.

What Miphen is

Miphen is a reflective tool. It reads patterns from the details you give it and puts them into plain language, so you can think about yourself and the people around you more clearly.

You need a Miphen account to use it. You are responsible for keeping access to the Google account you sign in with.

What Miphen is not

Miphen is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice, and it is not therapy or a substitute for it.

Miphen never tells you that a person is safe, trustworthy, good, or approved. It cannot know that, and it will not imply it. Judgements about your safety are yours, and where you are in danger, they belong with people who can actually help.

Miphen does not predict the future or tell you what will happen.

Miph’s answers

Miph is an AI. Its answers are generated text: often useful, sometimes wrong, and never a statement of fact about a real person.

Treat what Miph says as one perspective to weigh, not as a verdict. Decisions you make after reading it remain yours.

Adding other people

When you add someone, you are entering another person’s personal information. Only add what you legitimately know, keep it to what you would be comfortable being seen holding, and remove anyone who asks.

Do not use Miphen to build a case against someone, to monitor them, or to make decisions about their employment, housing, credit, insurance, or anything else with legal or comparable consequences for them.

Fair use

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or extract data from Miphen, and do not use it to harass anyone or to break the law.

We may suspend an account that is being used this way.

Availability and change

Miphen is early software. Features can change, and it may be unavailable at times.

You can stop using Miphen and delete your account at any time, from Settings → Account.

Limits

Miphen is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Miphen is not liable for what you decide after using it.

Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be signed away under the law where you live.
