What Miphen stores

Your account: the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us when you sign in. Miphen never sees your Google password.

Your birth details: the date, time and place you entered, kept both as you typed them and as Miphen read them, so you can always correct it.

The people you add: their name, how you know them, their birth details, and anything you wrote in the notes.

What's going on: the situations you describe in your own words, and the guidance Miph gave back.

Your reactions: whether you marked a part of your reading accurate or not, and which statements were on screen when you did.

Where it is kept

On your phone, so Miphen works with no signal.

In a private row in Miphen’s database, so you keep your profile when you change or reset your phone. Access is enforced per account at the database level: no other Miphen user can read your row.

Your sign-in token is held in the iPhone’s own secure keychain, not in ordinary app storage.

Miph is an AI

Miph is an artificial intelligence, not a person. Answers are generated, and generated text can be wrong.

When you ask Miph something, what is sent is your question, the name and relationship of the person you are asking about, the notes you wrote about them, and the plain-language reading Miphen calculated. Raw birth dates and times are not sent. Your email address is not sent.

That text is processed by Anthropic to produce the answer. It is not used to train their models. Miphen’s key for that service lives on Miphen’s server and never inside the app.

People who are not you

Miphen holds information about people who never installed it and never agreed to anything. We take that seriously.

Their details are visible only to you. They are never used to build a profile of that person outside your account, never matched against other users, and never sold or shared.

You can delete any person from Miphen at any time, which removes their details and everything derived from them.

If someone believes you have entered their details and wants them removed, they can write to teodora.popa.ca@gmail.com and we will act on it.

What Miphen does not do

No advertising, and no selling or sharing of your information with advertisers or data brokers.

No analytics or tracking software is built into the app.

No notifications. Miphen does not send push notifications at all, and if that ever changes it will ask you first.

No access to your live location, contacts, photos, microphone, or calendar.

Your control

See it: Settings → Account → Download my data gives you everything Miphen holds for you, as a file.

Correct it: every answer you gave can be edited — your birth details in Settings, a person from their own page.

Delete it: Settings → Account → Delete my account permanently removes your account and everything in it, from this phone and from Miphen’s database. It cannot be undone.

If you would rather ask us to do any of this, write to teodora.popa.ca@gmail.com.

Children

Miphen is not built for, or directed at, anyone under 16.

Getting in touch

Questions about any of this go to teodora.popa.ca@gmail.com.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, you will be told inside the app rather than left to notice.
